Southwest is having a great sale for the new year that works for both cash and points fares. 
To get the sale pricing you have to book by January 8, 2015 and travel from January 17, 2015 – June 3, 2015. Since Southwest allows you to cancel for free any time up to 15 minutes before your flight with no penalties (the points will go back in your account or you will get a credit you can use for a future flight), I encourage everyone to speculatively book any flights you might need now, and then change/cancel your flights if your needs change. Southwest includes two free checked bags as well which is always a great thing to have. Here are a few of the flights I found with this sale but there are many more so check your desired cities!
To put this sale into perspective this means if you receive the 50,000 point bonus of the Chase Rapid Rewards Premier, you use it for 5 of the above tickets! 5 free flights from getting just one credit card! What a deal! Keep in mind that Southwest is also a transfer partner of Ultimate Rewards so you can use the 40K bonus of the Chase Sapphire Preferred for these as well!
