This only takes about 2 minutes to get 200 free Accor points. They show you six pictures and you have to select the correct city for each picture. The answers are London, Bangkok, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, and Stockholm (in that order). Select those answers then enter your first and last name, your phone number and your Le Club Accorhotels number at the final screen for an easy 200 points! This was a targeted promotion for residents of Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, so if you win a big prize you may not actually get it, but everyone will probably get the 200 points who enters. Accorhotels is a chain that is mainly in Europe. I stayed at one of their hotels during my Amsterdam Dance Event trip. So what are you waiting for? Click here and get your free 200 points! Thanks to our friends at LoyaltyLobby for this story!

Accorhotels Private Sale up to 50% off certain dates and locations booked by October 29
This is a followup for those of you who got in on our Platinum Le Club Accorhotel offer a few days ago. Since I just stayed in an Accor Property (the Ibis Budget Amsterdam Airport) while I was at the Amsterdam Dance Event, I know that these sales can save you a lot off of the standard rate, especially if you have firm travel plans and don’t mind booking a prepaid rate. There are rates in Amsterdam city under this promotion that are the same as I paid for an airport location! Combining this with your free upgrades from Platinum Status at Sofitel, Pullman, and MGallery can potentially get you in a suite for a greatly discounted price! Accor has hotels all around the world, but mainly in Europe, South America, Asia, and the South Pacific.
You will need to be logged into your AccorHotel account to see the hotel list, but once you are, click on this link to see the flash sale which is good for rooms booked by October 29, but depending on the offer, travel can be up to April 30, 2013.
Three free hotel status upgrades available with Le Club Accorhotels, Langham 1865, and Marriott. Also 2000 free points!
Update: Oct 23: The Accorhotels link is now dead for the platinum status but the game is still active. You snooze, you lose! Make sure to follow our site to get in on these limited time offers.
These are two chains you may not know since they are primarily in Europe or Asia, but they are currently offering free status with new account signup. I am actually writing this from an Accor Property, the ibis budget hotel at the Amsterdam airport. I have platinum status with Accor, just like you will after you read this article. This allowed me to get early checkin at 9 AM to our room and will get me late checkout when I leave. Here is the full list of status benefits:
This offer is for new accounts and you just need to click on this link and sign up and you will instantly be given Platinum Status for a year! Even if you never plan on using an Accorhotel this can still be useful because you can use this status to status match with other chains such as Radisson! When you have status with one hotel, other hotels assume you are the frequent traveler they are after and compete for your business. These links don’t usually last long so do it now before it is gone!
Once you have your account created, jump start your account with 2000 free points (worth $60 in hotel vouchers) by playing their Facebook game matching the cities with their names. They do 500 points a week over 4 weeks so you will have to go back each week to get the points. A quick google map search on the hotel name will usually find it really fast.
The second offer is for Voyager status with the Langham 1865 chain. This is their highest status other than their conceirge level. They are a boutique brand offering hotels in mainly Asia, but also operate locations in London, New York, and Los Angeles. Click on this link and then Enroll Now, and then enter 442394 in the invitation code box and it should change the next entry to Voyager for the upgraded membership. I am not sure if I will ever stay at a Langham, but free status is free so why not get it just in case.
The third offer is for Marriott silver status. This is offered to certain big companies such as IBM as a benefit, but the sign up is generic so there is no proof of employment needed. So if the link works, then go for it. Here is the link!
So there you go, you will now have upgraded status with 3 different chains of hotels to get you free upgrades as well as late and early checkout. It should take about 10 minutes to apply for all 3, so get to it and start enjoying the benefits!
Hat tip to View from the Wing and Loyalty Traveler for the news on these offers.
Free Platinum Status with Accor Hotel’s Le Club for new signups
Update 8/4/12 – This link is currently dead. You have to act fast on a lot of our offers so sign up for our RSS or email feed here to make sure you don’t miss the next one!
Accor Hotel’s (which manages Sofitel, Pullman, Grand Mercure, Ibis, Novotel and others) currently has a promo where they are giving new signup for their frequent customer club free platinum status. This status normally requires you staying 60 nights in a calendar year so this is quite a shortcut. Platinum status gets you free room upgrades, more points, and a free welcome gift at some properties.
You should sign up for this even if you have never stayed at one of their properties (I don’t think I have before). The benefits are 1) It’s free and just takes a minute to sign up and 2) you can sometimes use this status to “Status Match” with a hotel program that you do use often.
This is only for new accounts not existing accounts so if you have an account already with them that doesn’t have any points (like I did), just create a new account using a different email address and use that account going forward.
Click here to sign up and get started.
This is a limited time link and can be taken offline at any time so go ahead and sign up now while you can.
Hat tip to our friends at Loyalty Lobby for the heads up on this offer.
